You must also provide copies of two (2) government-issued photo identifications for the subject. Information Searched A Canada Criminal Record Check (CRC) conducted through the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) using the Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC). This name and date of birth-based search is designed to determine whether an individual has a Canadian criminal record, including reported criminal charges and convictions available through the RCMP/CPIC system. This search does not use fingerprints as the search method. Please Note This search is conducted using the subject's name and date of birth. In some circumstances, if multiple possible matches are identified or additional verification is required, a fingerprint-based criminal record check may be necessary to confirm the results. Turnaround Time Results are generally returned within 24 to 36 business hours. Completed results will be delivered by email.

Turnaround Times

Most investigations are completed within one business day (excluding weekends and holidays). Please refer to the individual service description for the estimated turnaround time applicable to your order, as some investigations require additional processing time.

County Criminal Record Searches

Manual county criminal record searches are not completed within one business day. Because these investigations require manual courthouse research, turnaround times generally range from 1–7 business days, depending on the jurisdiction.

Manual court research provides the highest level of accuracy available and remains the preferred method when comprehensive county criminal record information is required.
